Gearing up for Ballarat Springfest 2014 and painting like crazy!!

Ballarat Springfest is only 4 days away, EEEKKK!! Very exciting for all and a tad stressful for me. We have had a flat out month and to top it all off I decided last minute to sign up for a stall at Springfest Ballarat this year. After I had filled out the form I realised I only left myself with a week to prepare, at this point I very much felt like slapping myself patting myself on the back LOL …

So as you can imagine, I have been painting non stop for the past few days trying to get most of the pieces that I envisioned there finished … Here is a little glimpse of what I have been up to!!

rustic farmhouse sideboard milk paint

This piece is soooooo cool in person, there is amazing crackling all over it

crackled paint

rustic kitchen board

I transformed an old potters work board into a lovely kitchen board / sign

painted suitcases

I have a soft spot for painted suitcases 😀

painted chair

This chair is oh so frenchy…

rustic frames

Rustic frames (along with framed blackboards and the like … not pictured 😀 )

paint stenciling

and can you guess what this is?? …….

shabby rustic writing burea painted

A stunning very unusual shabby writting bureau with french scripting … sigh!!

So thats just some of my progress … right now I have in front of me a sweet vintage pot cupboard and an antique writers slope that desperately needs some love and somewhere in the background a gorgeous set of nest tables are patiently waiting for some attention … not to mention the ….. well if I list it all I might will be here all night so you may just have to pop in this Sunday and say hello and see what treasures are up for grabs …

You will find our marquee set up just down from the Boat Shed Restaurant on the foreshore of Lake Wendouree this Sunday.. I hope to see you there 😀
