Why Not Try a Paint Workshop or Two?

Have you tried Websters Chalk Paint Powder yet? If not why not try it out by registering for one of our Websters Chalk Paint Workshops!! We have been successfully running booked out workshops for a few months now with great results.

Our workshops run once a month and we take a maximum of 6 persons per class. In our Websters Workshop the students bring a small piece of furniture / decor to work with. In the class everyone is introduced to the wonderful and versatile Websters Chalk Paint Powder. You will learn how to mix and add the powder to your paint. Basic distressing techniques and how to seal your piece using the lovely L’essentiels beeswax polish. In the workshop you will be supplied with a workshop bag containing:

1 X 500ml Sample Pot of Valspar Paint
1 X Painters Synthetic Bristle Brush
1 X Tacky Cloth
1 X Bag of Websters Chalk Paint Powder
1 X 50ml L’essentiels Beeswax Polish and some other assorted items needed to refinish your piece

The workshops currently run on a Saturday afternoon from 1.30pm to 5.30pm with a lovely afternoon tea with sandwiches and home made sweets and hot drinks mid class. The classes have been so much fun and some have been a riot with lots of laughing and smiling faces. The feedback has been wonderful and I would really like to thank all my students so far for your support, wonderful feedback and for giving me the opportunity to introduce them to this great product!!

I love how this ornate old frame came up!! It looked so fresh once repainted and the dark wax brought out its amazing detail.

Whites and neutrals have definitely been popular however I just cant help but grin at some of the lively colour choices that have been made, colour really makes me smile!!

Once you have learnt to start refinishing it really opens your mind to all the possibilities out there and I must warn you that it is highly addictive. It comes as no surprise when my students contact me to tell me the long list of items they have painted or have in line to paint next. There’s something so refreshing about having the creative licence to refinish a piece just as you imagined and not to be limited in choice of colour, it really is awesome fun.

So if you haven’t tried out Websters Chalk Paint why not give it a go and if you would like to join one of our super fun workshops you can check out all the details and apply online HERE (our next class is Sat 11th of October and is booking up fast, with only 4 spots left book now to avoid disappointment).
